Here is some useful information to make your journey to FFAE27 an easy one.
Registration

Registration can be completed online through our registration page. Simply select the ticket that best suits you and follow the prompts to complete your registration. If you require an invoice to be sent to your school for payment please select the corresponding ticket type.

Your registration includes access to the conference program and professional learning sessions. Industry tour transport. Morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner*.
*Please check the inclusions listed with your selected ticket.

Yes. Early bird registration will be available for a limited time. Register early to secure the best available rate and avoid missing out.

Yes. Group registration options are available. Group discounts are available for teachers from the same school only, please see all details on the registration page.

Yes, select this option on the registration page. This will allow you to attend on any one-day.

Absolutely! Dinner each day can be purchased separately on the registration page.

Industry Tours

Industry tours provide an opportunity to step outside the classroom and experience food, fibre and agriculture in action. Tours will showcase real-world industries, enterprises and innovations while connecting educators directly with industry professionals. Included with full conference registration.

No. Industry tours are designed to complement the conference program, but participation is not compulsory*.
*If you do not attend the Industry Tour no refund will be offered. Please advise in writing to organisers if you are unable to attend.

All attendees must wear closed in shoes.
Sun safe clothing suitable for outdoor activities, a hat, water bottle and sunscreen are recommended.
Practical Information

FFAE27 will be held at The University of Queensland’s Gatton Campus, approximately 90 minutes west of Brisbane. Further information about getting to the venue and parking will be provided closer to the event.

Yes, free parking is available.

Accommodation is not included, however it is available at the venue, see Accommodation page for more details. Other hotel options can be found close by in Gatton or Toowoomba.
Transport will not be provided from off-site accommodation.

Catering will be provided. Please advise of any dietary requirements during registration.

Yes. Please provide your dietary requirements when completing your registration so we can work with our catering team to accommodate your needs.

We recommend bringing a notebook or device for taking notes, comfortable clothing suitable for summer weather and closed in footwear for industry tours. A drink bottle is recommended.
If your accommodation is not an air conditioned room, bring a fan!
And don’t forget plenty of enthusiasm for learning and connecting!
