On Campus

Stay at Shelton Hall and enjoy the convenience of being right in the heart of the conference experience. UQ Gatton is located approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from Brisbane Airport.
A limited number of 30 air-conditioned rooms are available for conference delegates at $100 per room, per night.

How to Book

To reserve your on-campus accommodation, email conferences@uqres.com and include:
Your full name
Your preferred email address
That you are attending the 2027 Food, Fibre & Agricultural Educators Conference
You will then receive a secure link to the UQ Res booking portal. Through the portal, you will be asked to complete a short-stay accommodation agreement and pay for your stay by credit card.
With only 30 rooms available, early booking is strongly recommended.
Gatton Town

Enjoy the relaxed country hospitality of Gatton while staying close to the conference venue. Gatton is located approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes from Brisbane Airport and only a 10-minute drive from the UQ Gatton campus.
The town offers a variety of accommodation options, including motels, hotels and self-contained stays. Staying in Gatton provides additional privacy and amenities while keeping you conveniently connected to the conference.
You will also be close to local cafés, restaurants, supermarkets, shops and essential services, making Gatton a comfortable and practical base for your stay.
